3、选尺寸：一般脚轮直径越大，移动脚手架的推动就越省力，越障碍能力越好，因为脚轮最先在19世纪末的西方形成产业化，所以脚轮一般以英寸来表示，如中国的超市手推车大都用5寸、4寸的脚轮。目前市场上流行的脚轮尺寸从1寸到10寸都有，常用的尺寸有2寸，2.5寸，3寸，3.5寸，4寸，5寸，6寸，8寸，10寸等，一般经常需要推动的，如超市购物车、物流手推车、工具车等采用4～6寸的脚轮为佳。但是脚轮直径太大会使设备重心上升，成本增加，所以要进行综合考虑。若设备不需要经常推动，如家具，冰箱等，只是在搞卫生时才需要移动一下，选用3寸以下脚轮即可。 

4、刹车：从功能上来说，有刹轮子的，有刹支架万向的，两者同刹则为双刹，还有胎面刹，正刹，边刹等，具体联系脚轮工厂。 

5、安装方式：一般中轻载可用丝杆、插杆、膨胀胶套等，重载则用底板，或者直接焊接到移动脚手架上。一般大公司的安装方式很丰富。
